Senior forward Trae Blumhorst (Mendota, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 7, 2018. Blumhorst nearly averaged a double-double this past week for Rockford. The senior began by recording his first double-double of the season with 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks and 3 steals against Marian. He then tallied 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 block on Saturday against Aurora. For the week Blumhorst averaged 20.5 points on 41.9% shooting, 9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.5 steals.
