Freshman guard Brandon Emerick (Elkhart, Ind.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 14, 2018. Emerick led Rockford to a 1-1 record in NACC play this past week. His best performance came in the Regents' 100-77 win on Saturday against Wisconsin Lutheran. Emerick poured in a game-high 24 points on 64.3% shooting from the floor including knocking down 6-of-10 three-point attempts. He also added 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block to his totals. For the week Emerick averaged 15.5 points on 50% shooting both from the floor and three-point range, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.0 assists, 0.5 blocks.
