Senior forward Zach Wallace (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending December 11, 2016. Wallace helped lead Rockford to a 2-1 record last week including a perfect 2-0 mark in NACC play. He began the week with a Herculean effort on the road against Concordia Wisconsin where he scored a career-high 36 points on 16-for-20 shooting, while also adding 13 rebounds and 6 blocks in the Regents' road win. Wallace then helped lead Rockford to a double-overtime win on Saturday against Marian with 21 points, 8 rebounds and tied his career-high with 7 blocks. For the week the senior averaged 20.3 points on 66.7% shooting, 8.3 rebounds and 4.7 blocks.
