Senior Genesis Cerrato (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending September 15th, 2013. On Saturday, Cerrato finished 13th out of 180 runners at the Falcon Invitational. Her time of 24:00.1 was the best time at the Falcon Invite for a Rockford female cross country runner since the program was restarted in 2004. Of the 12 runners that finished ahead of Cerrato, only four were NCAA Division III student-athletes. Seven of the remaining eight were from NCAA Division I schools and the other was from a NCCAA institution.
