Senior Daryn Streed (Belvidere, Ill./North) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending April 28, 2013. Streed was instrumental in leading the Regents to an 8-0 week last week. He had a hit in every game and had 6 multi-hit games including three 3-hit games. The senior had 6 doubles, 2 home runs scored 10 runs and had 12 RBI. Streed hit .500 for the week (17-34) with a .564 on-base percentage and an .853 slugging percentage.
