Senior guard Vincent Eugene has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 20, 2022. Eugene scored what turned out to be the game-winning basket with 13 seconds left in Rockford's 79-76 win over Eureka College on Saturday. His offensive rebound and made putback layup helped erase a 10-point second half deficit and propel the Regents to a 3-0 start to the season. Eugene finished the game with a season-high 16 points on 7-of 12 shooting, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
