Junior middle blocker Connor McNear has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 15, 2023. His best outing of the week came in Rockford's 3-0 win over Maranatha. McNear recorded a match-high 11 kills on 15 attack attempts and broke his own school record with a .667 hitting percentage. He also tallied a career-high four solo blocks and one service ace. For the week, McNear had a team-high 14 kills with a .417 hitting percentage, five total blocks, one dig and one service ace.
