Junior forward Micah Swanson has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 5, 2023. Swanson posted a pair of 20-point, 10-rebound double-doubles to help lead the Regents to two NACC wins. He opened with a career-high 27 points, 13 rebounds, 2 blocks and an assist in a 74-64 road win over Benedictine. Swanson then had 20 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal in Rockford's 92-88 win against Lakeland. For the week, Swanson averaged 23.5 points on 73.1% shooting from the floor and 81.8% shooting from the free throw line, 11.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks.Â
