Junior guard Nicole Silvers (Byron, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending December 17, 2017. Silvers propelled Rockford to its first win of the season this past week. The junior scored a team-high 15 points as she knocked down three of her six three point attempts to lead Rockford to a 57-54 win over Maranatha. She rounded out her day with 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists. For the week Silvers averaged 10.0 points, 2.5 steals, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
