  • Rockford got the hits rolling quickly to start game one. A single by Bella Lima and a double by Candace Kipp set up Kariana Williams for the two-RBI single that gave Rockford the first runs of the game.
  • The Regents held the lead until the third inning, when UW-Stevens Point tallied a three-run comeback to take the lead 3-2.
  • The Pointers controlled the rest of the game with a mountain of runs, scoring another seven unanswered in the fifth and sixth innings. With the final runs in the bottom of the sixth, UWSP reached the run-rule and took the victory in game one 10-2.
