Six-Run First Propels Rockford Past Anna Maria

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Rockford University softball team won its third straight game via an 8-1 victory early Tuesday morning against Anna Maria College. The Regents scored six runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Rockford University pitchers Mariah Martinez and Rylee Klema were once again brilliant inside the circle. The duo combined to allow no earned runs and just two hits in the game. The win moves the Regents to 4-1 on the year with three games remaining on their Florida spring trip.
