ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's soccer team fell to the Edgewood University Eagles 7-0 on Friday afternoon.
Edgewood's first goal came in the 5th minute. They wasted no time doubling their total, scoring again less than a minute later to take a 2-0 lead.
The score remained the same for a big chunk of the first half before the Eagles came soaring back in. They added two more goals to head into the half with a 4-0 lead.

Natasha Toc-Monrroy each spent time in the goal for the Regents, Rose finished with eight saves and Toc-Monrroy finished with four.
4-0 was the score for a good portion of the second half. Edgewood was able to convert three more times in the final 18 minutes to balloon the final score to 7-0.
The Regents will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 22, when they head to Aurora to face the Spartans at 7 p.m. CDT.
