WEST ALLIS, Wis. -- The Rockford University women's cross country team competed at the Warrior Invitational on Saturday morning at Greenfield Park. 

Brianna Torres led RU placing eighth on the overall individual leaderboard with a 6k time of 25:12.9. This time places Torres ninth in all-time top 10 times in program history. Rebekah Starwalt placed ninth, with a 6k time of 25:31.5. 

The University of Wisconsin Track Club won the invitational led by Dasha Vorontsov, who won the invite individually with a 6k time of 22:04.4. 

The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 11:45 A.M. CDT at the Augustana Interregional Invitational.
