APPLETON, Wis. -- The Rockford University women's basketball team dropped a non-conference game to Lawrence University, 89-26, on Tuesday.
Nia Wilkerson led the Regents with nine points and dished out two assists.
Katie Paredes was active on the glass, with a team-high nine rebounds.
Unfortunately for the Regents, they struggled to shoot the ball and ran into a red-hot Vikings team that shot 47.9% from the floor and 44.4% from beyond the perimeter. LU also shot well from the charity stripe, going 7-8 from the free-throw line.
The Regents will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 22, vs Illinois College in their home-opening game. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. CST.
