MEQUON, Wis. - The Rockford University men's basketball team fell 103-87 on the road Saturday afternoon at Concordia University Wisconsin. The Regents never led in the game, but it was tight for much of the first half. Unfortunately, the Falcons went on a 17-7 run late in the first half to take a 15-point lead and never look back. The difference in the game was simply the Falcons' ability to make shots and get to and covert at the free throw line. CUW shot 63.8% from the floor and went 38-of-44 at the free throw line. Conversely, Rockford shot 48.6% for the game and was only 10-of-18 at the free throw line. Rockford's loss to Concordia Wisconsin means the Regents and Falcons will split the season series, as Rockford won 86-84 at home earlier in the year.
