ROCKFORD, Ill. -- The Rockford University women's basketball program had one player recognized by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference for the third straight season when the NACC released its all-conference awards on Thursday morning. Junior center Te Simpson was voted Second Team All-NACC by all the conference's head coaches. This is the first NACC postseason award of Simpson's career. 

Junior center Te Simpson was named Second Team All-NACC in her first season as a Regent. Simpson had an outstanding season, with 12 double-doubles on the year. Simpson was in the top 10 in six statistical categories and led the NACC in two statistical categories. Simpson was 5th in scoring (14.3), 1st in rebounds (9.8), 4th in offensive rebounds (9.8), 1st in defensive rebounds (7.1), T-7th in blocked shots (0.6), and 2nd in minutes played (32.4).
