Dale Mcguire was hired as an assistant coach for the women's basketball program in July of 2024. He brings a large variety of experience to the Rockford coaching staff.
Mcguire joins Rockford after most recently serving as a men's basketball camp coach at Purdue University for the summer of 2024. He covered a variety of areas including: working with summer camps, conducting skill stations and head coaching youth teams. Prior to his time at Purdue University, he served as an assistant coach at Silver Lake College (D3) from 2015-2016 and at Georgetown College (NAIA) from 2011-2012 as a volunteer assistant coach. During his time at Silver Lake College, he was tasked with recruiting, scouting, player development, and daily planning of the team. At Georgetown College, he also dealt with recruiting and scouting.Â
Mcguire will mainly be responsible for the recruiting and scouting aspects of the Rockford women's basketball program.
Mcguire graduated with a degree in Sports Management from Silver Lake College.Â
