Mike Rampe is the Sports Information Director at Rockford University, where he is responsible for all aspects of sports information for the university’s 15 intercollegiate athletic teams. Rampe serves as the primary contact for Rockford Athletics and oversees game coverage, statistics, and the dissemination of information to the media.
Prior to joining Rockford, Rampe spent two years as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Siena Heights University. During his time there, he assisted with media relations, statistics, and coverage for 26 athletic programs, gaining extensive experience across multiple sports.
Rampe is a former collegiate golfer at Siena Heights, competing for four seasons. As an undergraduate, he gained early experience in sports information by writing for the school newspaper and serving as a student volunteer assistant in the sports information office.
A native of East Lansing, Mich., Rampe earned his bachelor’s degree in communications and his MBA from Siena Heights University. He currently resides in Rockford, Illinois.
