Pitcher Jared Herzog has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending April 3, 2022. Herzog threw a complete game in Rockford's 5-2 win at Edgewood on Sunday to open NACC play. He began the game by retiring the first eleven batters he faced and held the Eagles scoreless over the first five innings. Herzog allowed just three hits and two runs over his nine innings of work, while striking out a season-high eleven batters, including at least one in each inning. He also went 4-for-8 at the plate with a walk and a run batted in.
