ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford University men's volleyball team fell in straight sets 3-0 (15-25, 16-25, 15-25) to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons. CUW overwhelmed the Regents, getting plenty of early runs to establish leads Rockford couldn't overcome. The best the Regents could do was keep up, falling in straight sets by the end of the evening.
- Concordia Wisconsin got off to a very fast start, running up the score to 11-2.
- The Regents matched CUW the rest of the way, the points at 14-13, but it was too late, the Falcons took the first set 25-15. Connor McNear led the Rockford offense with two kills.
- Rockford got out to the quick start in the second, going up 4-2. Joaquin Santillan had a kill for the Regents.
- The Falcons took the lead back at 8-7, managing to stay ahead of the Regents as they worked the score to 13-11. Nathan Vana and Isaiah Dixon each contributed two kills to keep the match close.
- CUW then stepped up on offense once again, pulling away and claiming the set win once again after a 12-5 run ended the set with a 25-16 final score.
- With a 2-0 advantage in the set category, Concordia Wisconsin once again jumped out in front with an 11-4 run to start the set.
- The Regents battled hard the rest of the set, trading points with the Falcons, but could not recover from the early run put together by CUW, falling in the final set 25-15.
