Jeff Mosher is one of the most highly decorated basketball players in Rockford history. He was also a great athlete as he played in three sports, lettering in all three (basketball, baseball and golf). Mosher attended Rockford College from 1976-1980. He currently holds two records, the highest free-throw percentage in a single game with over 10 attempts (1.000), and the most free-throw attempts in a game (21). In 1978 and 1979 he earned the respect of his teammates becoming a Co-Captain. Outside of his own personal records he notched many post-season accolades.  Mosher was named to the All-Conference team in 1976, 1978 and 1979. He earned All-State recognition in 1978 and 1979. Going beyond the state recognition, he was named to the All-District team in 1978 and 1979. Also in 1979, Mosher was named an All-American.

Even after all of his post-season accolades, Mosher, was recognized by the College as the Athlete-of-the-Year in 1979. Capping off his phenomenal career as a Regent, he was named to the President's Cup in 1979.
